TROUBLE SHOOTING

    1. If you are having trouble starting the car, make sure the clutch is pressed down all the way. This is a safety feature most new cars come with. Unless the clutch is pressed down the car will fail to start.
    2.  If you are having any issues when starting or ending your booking you can speak directly to our support team in-app (between 8am – 10pm)
    3. Beware that the fuel card can only be used in a Circle K station, make sure to check with the garage before filling up, the fuel card is located in the glove compartment.
    4. If the car steering wheel is locked gently try to move it while turning the key in the ignition simultaneously
    5. If you are late returning your GoCar you must call us or leave a chat in-app to GoCar to inform them of your intended return time. Where possible we will always try to accommodate this extension. Failure to notify us of your late return will result in a fine of €25 + 1.5 times the hourly rate being added to your account.
    6. All on street GoCars must be parked legally i.e. not in loading bays, clearways or bus lanes etc. drivers are responsible for all fines and fees related to illegal parking.

TOP TIPS

    1. During your booking the keypad will show you when you have booked your GoCar until.

    3. Don’t forget when you get to your GoCar it is your responsibility to check the car for damage. If you spot some damage please take photos of it at the start of your trip.
    4. Did you know you can purchase an additional DEW policy with GoCar to reduce your insurance excess from €2000 to €250?
