How it Works

No need for transfers
Step off the ferry and into your GoCar without the need for leaving the port, simply hop in and drive away!

1. Download the GoCar app to get started

You'll be asked to upload photos of your driving licence and a selfie. 

(You must be at least 21 years old & hold a full licence for at least 2 years in order to use the service)

Once you're verified you can then start booking GoCars straight from the app. Book one for your arrival time.

2. Locate your GoCar and unlock

When you arrive at Dublin Port you will be directed by the app to the car which is only about a 5 minute walk. 

Unlock the car with the app when prompted by holding down the screen for 5 seconds.

3. Hit the road from Dublin Port!

Take the keys from the glove box and drive, the Irish roads are your oyster!

4. Return the car

When you're finished your booking, simply bring the car back to where you got it from in Dublin Port and lock it with the app.
